WHERE IT BEGAN
Born out of a desire to slow down in a fast-paced world. Preque started with a simple question: How can we create clothing that feels as good as it looks, while respecting the earth it comes from? The answer was linen, and the journey started in the historic weaving town of Bhagalpur.

Often referred to as the Silk City of India, Bhagalpur has a weaving tradition that dates back centuries. Our linens are handwoven by artisans whose families have passed down this delicate craft through generations.

WHY LINEN
Linen is made from the flax plant, one of the most sustainable fibers on earth. It requires virtually no irrigation, no pesticides, and leaves no waste. Beyond its environmental credentials, it is exceptionally durable, naturally breathable, and softens beautifully with every wash.
